"Winston came to HeavenSent Bulldog Rescue on July 22, 2006, in the worst condition of any dog ever surrendered to us.
He was so weak that he could barely stand. The outline of his backbone and hips stood out; we could count every rib. A healthy bulldog with a large frame like Winston’s would normally carry more than 70 pounds, but Winston weighed only 42 pounds. "

All of us at Heavensent Bulldog Rescue, including all our volunteers and their families, would like to express our sincere gratitude for the unyielding confidence and support from all our friends and associates.

This "battle" has been a challenge we could not have anticipated. We continue to have grave concern for the bulldogs at risk who may not come to us, because of our removal from the roster.

For the "Winstons", "Stellas", "Brucies" & "Chances" who need us, this debacle is not in vain. It continues to be a learning experience, and we believe that in the end , more people will understand the need for reliable representation in Bulldog rescue. We're proud to defend ourselves, we hold our heads high, and we will NEVER disappoint our supporters.

And most importantly ...
It's ALL about the Bulldogs.
