“Just wanted to say again how much we are enjoying Moxie. She has been a true delight for both C. and me. We did have a bit of a struggle over where she was going to sleep. For a while she was OK in the kitchen and studio, but we a had a series of wind storms blow thru and she does not like them. In fact, she very cleverly learned to take down the gate we put up. So, we gave in, she now has her bed at the foot of ours and is very very happy with this arrangement. So am I. C. can't tell whether its Moxie or me snoring.

“ We rescued Sage just days after the passing of our very loved 11 year old bulldog Beauregard. We had started the process prior to Beauregard's death and when he died suddenly I really didn't think I could open my heart to Sage the way she deserved but my family was in love with her and needed her to help fill the void we were all feeling. It is difficult to express how much Sage means to me and my entire family. She loves each one of us individually and I credit Pam for knowing that Sage was absolutely the right dog for us. My four children, ages 8 to 2, needed her as much as she needed us. It seems silly, but I just don't think I can express the difference she has made in all of our lives and I hope Sage feels the same. When she wiggles uncontrollably upon my arrival home I am pretty sure she does. Thank you HeavenSent for sending us Sage and for all you do to save other dogs like her.”

“ We lost our little Daisy (our Bulldog) to cancer spring 2007 at the early age of 6yrs. After much soul searching ,I applied to be a foster Mom for HeavenSent Bulldog Rescue. Kara introduced us to "Lil Roy" and asked if we want to consider fostering to adopt. Well needless to say, by the time we had this Bullie home, I was smitten. He is the sweetest, most even- tempered Bulldog I've ever met. He is my constant companion and quite a clown when he wants to eat or a "cookie". He helped us all heal from our loss.
